Reginald "Reg" William Carter was the grandfather of Stan Carter and the great grandfather of Shirley Carter and Tina Carter.
Reginald William Carter was born in about 1890 in Canning Town, London. He married and had a son in-between 1910 and 1918. Reginald fought in World War 1.
Reg became a grandfather in 1937 when his grandson Stan was born.
In 2015 Stan mentioned his late grandfather who had died decades earlier.
