Tina’s the kind of woman who can drink you under the table whilst making you cry with laughter with her back catalogue of dirty jokes. She is a loud, vivacious big kid who will do anything for a laugh. In November 2017, Shirley Carter forced her to leave for Spain so that she could be sure that Tina wouldn't confess to Honey or turn herself in for leaving Janet Mitchell in hospital after mowing her down on Halloween.

Storylines

When Zsa Zsa Carter arrives at Albert Square in E20 it is mentioned that Tina has gone off to Benidorm with her toyboy Miguel and left her with her stepfather Andy.

She shoplifts from Denise Fox, and Shirley gets Tina to return the goods and leave the shop, so Denise offers Shirley her old job at the shop back. However, when Tina later reveals to Denise that she is Shirley 's sister, Shirley loses the job.

Phil agrees to let Tina stay at his house with Shirley, until Phil tells her to leave because she is "gobby". Shirley and Tina then move in with Billy Mitchell

Tina decides she wants her brother Mick back in her life so takes Shirley to his mother-in-law's pub where they find his wife Linda Carter. Tina steals money from the pub, but decides to return it the next day, however, Mick tells her to keep it.

When Mick buys The Queen Victoria pub, Tina and Shirley move in with him, Linda and their son Johnny. After getting drunk at a New Year's Eve party, Tina has a one night stand with Billy .

He tries to pursue a relationship with Tina but she admits that while she is fond of him, she is still a lesbian and only had sex with him because she was drunk.

In November 2017, she ran down Janet Mitchell in the square. She tells Shirley, who tries to make her keep it quiet. After visiting the scene of the crime, she runs into Billy. They go back to the pub, and just before Tina confesses Billy kisses her and they have a one night stand (yet again). Later she confesses to Billy, and he tells her to go. She later becomes rather involved in Janet's recovery thanks to Honey Mitchell, however she is later forced to leave by Shirley so she can be sure Tina won't turn herself in.

In December 2017, she returns to the Square amidst the celebrations after the Carters believe they have raised enough money to escape eviction from the Queen Victoria pub.

Whilst Kathy is talking to Tina Carter in Kathy's Cafe, Luke walks in. She tells him to get out, and he calls the remark "not very friendly". She retorts with "not very friendly assaulting my son", referring to Luke's beating of Ben Mitchell, and he tells her to be careful throwing accusations like that about. Kathy tells him she won't serve him, then Luke tells her that they own the place, to Kathy and Tina's horror.Later in the episode, whilst Kathy is talking to Tina Carter in Kathy's Cafe, Luke walks in.
