T.K Holder was the loss adjuster from the insurance company that Frank Butcher had put in a claim for after the car lot fire. Mr Holder did not know the fire was a scam between Frank and his friend Phil Mitchell to claim on the insurance. The police had told Mr Holder that frank;s business accounts had gone up in the flames. Frank also told him this. Mr Holder said he would be around in a while to inspect the personal accounts.
Pat Butcher said she had seen the business accounts around. She was unaware the lie Frank had told the police and Holder that they had been destroyed. Frank came home to hide the books but it was too late. He fell apart but hid his panic in front of Pat saying he just felt weak as he came home too quick. The business accounts would have proven the fire was a scam. Mr Holder left once he inspected the accounts. Unsurprisingly, a month later the insurance claim was denied. Frank had run away by then.
