Story Lines

January 2018 - March 2018 : Her husband, Ted, neglects her to play chess with Patrick Trueman. After Bernadette Taylor is suspended from her school she is sent to work on Ted's allotment but takes a fancy to Ted and Patrick's game. Ted decides to teach her chess and on the 27th March 2018 he enrolls her into a tournament on Joyce's son Alan Murray's 50th Birthday. At 6pm Bernadette asks Ted to meet her at the community center, where the tournament is being held. Ted forgets that he and Joyce were supposed to Skype Alan at 6 and Joyce storms off. Ted then agrees to stay with Joyce after she calls him a bad father, only, a few seconds before the call she tells him to go. Ted does so and Bernadette is asked to join the chess club. When Ted returns he is greeted to a note saying Joyce had gone to bed early so Ted poked his head into the room to say goodnight, only Joyce had died from a Cardiac arrest in her sleep. Found by Ted as well as Bernadette and Tiffany
