Jason "Jase" Dyer is a fictional character that appeared in the BBC soap opera EastEnders between 2007 and 2008. He was played by Stephen Lord. The character was killed off in the serial, making his final credited appearance on 29 August 2008.
He has a son Jay Brown, he died the night before his wedding to Dawn Swann. He died by having several stabbing wounds by his old gang. Who first took Jay because they knew Jase would go to them if Jay was involved. Jases gang leader wasn't pleased when Jase said he didn't want to be a part of the gang anymore because he had a son to look after. so gang leader Terry made a plan to raid the vic and took Jase into the celler but one of the gang mates had knocked over heavily pregnant Honey witch caused her to go into premeture labour and giving birth to a still born but the nurses managed to get it breathing. He had Adopted dawns daughter summer. He also had a brief fling with Roxy before getting with Dawn. In August 2017, it was revealed that Jay had been adopted by Jase after Jay's biological father was killed in the Car Lot Fire back by Phil Mitchell.
