Gerald Ludlow is Donna Ludlow's adoptive father and the husband of Mrs Ludlow. He made his first appearance on 9 June 1988.
Storylines[]
Gerald, accompanied with his wife. visit Albert Square in June 1988 after Donna's birth mother, Kathy Beale, contacts them and informs them that their daughter has lied to them and is now causing trouble on the square. They try to persuade Donna to leave Walford, on Kathy’s request, but she refuses.
Following Donna’s death on the 13th of April 1989, Gerald returns without Mrs Ludlow, who had been put under sedation, in search of Dot Cotton after hearing the kindness she had paid his daughter. He, Mrs Ludlow and Dot attend Donna’s funeral in Bromley, off-screen, on the 20th of April 1989.
