Summary[]
Lynne and Garry's hen and stag nights go with a bang. Another Slater arrives and Zoe is about to receive a shock after a row with Kat.
Lynne holds her wedding dress up to herself. She looks happy, until she sees a picture of her mum and is upset that she won't be there to see the wedding. Kat cheers Lynne up and the entire family head out for Lynne's hen night in an Indian restaurant. Kat gets Zoe to sit next to her, and tells her she's looking nice. Meanwhile in the Vic, all the men are gathered to help Garry enjoy his stag night. He has an inflatable doll chained to him and is steadily getting drunker and drunker. Charlie draws a button on a bar mat, telling Garry to imagine it will make Lynne disappear, but not get hurt. If Garry wants to press it, then he shouldn't get married. Kat fawns over Zoe, but Zoe gets annoyed with being treated like a child. A cab rolls up outside and the fifth Slater sister, Belinda, arrives at the restaurant. Belinda is very different from the other Slaters. She has blonde hair and a posh accent. She talks on and on about how great her life is, annoying Kat! Garry has taken the button conversation to heart. He carries the beer mat around with him and he asks Mark if he would press it to get rid of Lisa. A stripper arrives at the Vic, but no-one can work out who booked her, and it seems it was probably Garry himself! He tries to chat her up, but she isn't interested. Beppe warns Garry to be good to Lynne. He also warns him that Charlie is looking daggers at him. Harry reassures Charlie that everything will work out fine in the end. Kat gets so wound up with Belinda that she orders her a cocktail, pretending it is non-alcoholic. It does the trick as Belinda gets drunk and her wig falls off! Belinda's phony accent soon slips as well and she reveals that her life isn't nearly as perfect as she's been making out. Kat is delighted. Natalie suggests that everyone play a version of 'spin the bottle' where they either have to tell a secret or do a forfeit. Everyone excitedly agrees. Garry clutches the button that Charlie drew him. He keeps asking other people what they would do. Eventually he just tears the thing up. Lynne says that everyone already knows all of Kat's secrets. Zoe stands up and announces that she has something to say. Zoe reveals that she is going to go to Spain with Uncle Harry to work in his bar. Kat looks aghast and tells Zoe categorically that she can't go. Zoe storms out of the restaurant in disgust of Kat's protests. Kat gives chase. Zoe warns Kat she can't tell her what to do since she's not her mother. Kat yells back that she is! |
