47A[]

The first known resident of 47A Albert Square was Alan McIntyre in late 1987. He caused a lot of trouble and disturbance for his neighbours living above him (Sue and Ali Osman). He remained at 47A until 1989.

The next known tenants were Tony Hills and Simon Raymond in 1996. Tiffany Raymond lived with them for some months in 1996 until she moved to The Vic with Grant. Tony's friend Dan Zapieri lodged at the flat briefly, as did Simons father Terry for a few nights.

By 1998, the flat was being used as a squat by Huw Edwards and Lenny Wallace. Various others (including Matthew Rose, Ricky Butcher and Robbie Jackson) squatted in the flat throughout 1998 until March 1999 when 47A and 47B were purchased by property developers.

The occupants of 47A were unknown between 1999-2010.

47B Albert Square is an upstairs flat on Albert Square, Walford.

During 1985 Saeed Jeffery and his wife Naima live at 47B. The flat is owned by Saeed's parents. In November, after Naima leaves him, Saeed puts the flat (and his shop, First 'Till Last) up for sale, both through Newton & Ash estate agents. Just after Christmas Saeed leaves Walford to live with his family in Bangladesh, and Naima moves in as a lodger with Debbie at 43 Albert Square. In January 1986 Sue and Ali Osman are interested in buying the flat and are told it is leasehold with 88 years remaining, and on the market for £30,000.

On 11 February 1986 Sue and Ali Osman move in to 47B and live there until 1989. Their second son, Little Ali Osman is born in the flat in 1988.

Lorraine Wicks moves into 47B with her son, Joe Wicks in January 1997. They stay until November 1997 when they move back to Bolton and Ricky and Bianca Butcher take over the tenancy. Bianca's siblings Sonia and Robbie live with them for awhile in 1998-99 before their mother Carol returns later in 1999. Liam Butcher is born in December 1998 and resides at 47B until March 1999 when the Butchers receive an eviction letter due to developers buying the block of flats.

In 2022, Suki Panesar buys the property and converts it to a GP surgery, Featuring automatic doors, a lift, and gender neutral toilets. She hires Ash Panesar, Nina Gupta Sarah and later Sonia Fowler to work there.
