Summary[]
Mark and Gill are all loved up but it isn't set to last.
Mark arranges for breakfast to be brought to their hotel room, but his plans are swiftly changed when Gill feels another fit coming on. Arthur learns that Phil knew that Mark was marrying Gill and is confused. Gill is rushed back into the hospice where she dies peacefully with Mark by her side. Michelle arrives at the hotel to see Mark and Gill and is informed of what has happened. She phones Phil and asks him to tell Arthur the sad news. Mark is full of grief. Arthur learns that Gill is dead. Michelle arrives at the hospice to see Mark. They head to a park they went to when they were younger to reminisce good times together. Arthur later turns up at the park after realising that is where they would have gone. He hands them some bread to feed the ducks and leaves them alone again. Michelle recites the Solomon Grundy nursery rhyme to Mark and tells him it is not the end for him. |
