Summary[]
The Slaters are baffled when an envelope is delivered to Stacey's house containing the key for Charlie's cab, but before long Hayley is determined to get the vehicle running again, realising it could be a money-spinner. Max and Rainie try to get character references to support their custody battle for baby Abi, and Stuart asks Mick to join him in his mission to expose abuse.
Hayley is determined to prove to the Slaters that she can fix the cab - but first she needs to `borrow' a few tools from the Arches. Ted storms over to the Taylors to confront them about stealing the money Patrick donated for Joyce's funeral. Max strikes a deal with Karen to be his character reference, offering her £200 as long as she brings someone with her.
