Summary[]
Yusef faces another obstacle with the arrival of his cousin Tariq, who warns him of the dire consequences of reuniting with Zainab. Derek supplies the Moons with some fridges to sell.

Zainab prays as Yusef watches on. Continuing to take her pills Zainab flinches when Yusef goes to touch her. When Afia gives Yusef a birthday present Zainab is visibly shaken to realise she has forgotten. Yusef is shocked to find his cousin Tariq, who advises him to end his relationship with Zainab or face the wrath of the family. Yusef meets Tariq at the Argee Bhajee and offers him the restaurant in return for his silence. When Afia turns up she is surprised to see Tariq, who is furious to learn the restaurant was never Yusef’s to give. When Afia expresses her concern over what the family did to Zainab in Karachi she is floored to learn that it was Yusef who started the fire. Janine is furious when she is locked out of one of her flats by a squatter. When Derek offers his assistance, Michael ushers her way, adamant she stays away from him. Janine approaches Derek for help, impressed when he gets rid of the squatters. Janine expresses her gratitude towards Derek but sees a different side to him when he relays a cruel trick he played on Michael during their youth. Finding him in the gardens, they kiss after Janine sends him a text reading ‘I love you too.’ Alfie is pleased with Derek’s delivery of fridges but when he fails to impress Janine with his sales pitch Derek is intrigued by her icy demeanour. Alfie asks Derek for more gear to sell, Derek informing him of a van load of booze and fireworks that’s his if he wants it. Syed is dejected when the bank refuses to offer a loan for the business proposal but Amira has another solution; Janine. At Yusef’s party Syed announces that Janine is putting up the money. |
