Summary[]
Masood is left reeling when he learns of his future daughter-in-law's past, while Carol tries to be a good Samaritan. Meanwhile, Roxy embarks upon a mission to help her sister.

Roxy’s outraged that Jack refuses to get Ronnie from Aunt Sal’s. Jack tells her that he’s been through hell in the last few months and he just doesn’t care anymore. Roxy heads round to Aunt Sal’s and attempts to coax Ronnie home. Max warns Jack to learn from his mistakes and keep his family together - he’d give anything to live with his kids again. Thinking of James, Jack reconsiders. A defeated Roxy’s leaving Aunt Sal’s when Jack arrives - he’s come to take Ronnie home. Mercy thinks that Fatboy snuck a girl in after hearing noises coming from his room the night before but is surprised to see Ashley in the café. Fatboy lies that Ashley’s here on holiday. Yusef overhears Ashley admitting he’s homeless and sorts out a room at the B&B for him. Mercy realises it was Ashley in Fatboy’s room and Fatboy admits that Ashley’s lost everything. Home from the hospital, Dot’s annoyed at Carol’s attempts to help out and tries to carry on as normal. She grudgingly accepts help when her broken arm prevents her from looking after Jim properly. Tanya and Syed set up a salon in Tanya’s front room, much to Greg’s annoyance. Roxy discovers that her salon isn’t open and Michael promises to sort it out for her. On discovering the make-shift salon set up at Tanya’s, Michael suggests that Tanya and Greg buy the salon from Roxy. Masood’s irritated by Dot’s glowing report of Yusef as ‘the perfect GP’. Tamwar and Afia are fed up of Masood and Zainab’s attempts to control their relationship. During Masood’s eye test at the opticians, Zulekha tells Masood how popular Afia is with boys - she could have any guy she liked. Convinced that Afia’s been with other boys before Tamwar, Masood confronts her. |
