Summary[]
Bianca gives Whitney a treat when an uninvited guest arrives. Meanwhile, Bradley is reunited with Dot, Dawn is grateful for some attention, and Christian does something unwise.

Bianca persuades Whitney to go to her exam, and lends her a lucky pen. Later, as a treat, Bianca paints Whitney’s nails. Mr Ackroyd, Whitney’s teacher, arrives and tells Bianca that Whitney hasn’t completed a single exam. Bianca’s furious with Whitney and the two argue. The doorbell rings and they’re shocked to find Whitney’s mother, Debra Dean, on the doorstep. Syd picks Bradley up from the hospital. Everyone thinks Bradley’s a hero and a party is held in his honour in the Vic. Bradley’s upset that Dot hasn’t come to the party, so visits her. Dot feels guilty about the fire. Bradley tells Dot that he and Dotty have never had anyone who loves them as much as she does. She says he’s the son she always wanted. Dawn’s annoyed by the mess in the flat. Garry isn’t happy that Phil’s offered to lend them money. In the pub, Shirley taunts Dawn and spills drink over her. Phil throws Shirley out, and persuades Garry to take the loan whilst Dawn’s upstairs changing. Dawn’s thrilled and hugs Phil. However, Garry then tells Dawn he’s spoken to Minty, he won’t sell his share of the house. Dot doesn’t eat anything that Dotty makes for her and hides all her pills. Pat sees the tension between grandmother and granddaughter and tells Dot she wishes her grandchildren were half as considerate as Dotty. As a test Dot leaves her pills on the kitchen table, but Dotty doesn’t touch them. Christian and Lucy continue to make plans for the new café. Bianca wants £75 a week compensation for loss of earnings or she’ll phone Ian. |
