Summary[]

Little Mo panics when she wakes up in an empty bed. She questions Garry and forces him to reveal where Billy has been. Meanwhile, Patrick receives some devastating news when the police tell him they have found a body that they need him to identify. He is horrified to find that it is Paul's body. Whilst Yolande is trying to contact Anthony, he goes to the pub and gets drunk. Ian wants to take Jane out that evening and Pauline agrees to babysit. However, she gets more than she bargained for when she walks in on the pair half-naked!

Little Mo is worried sick as Billy didn't return home. She paces around searching for him and is comforted by a reassuring Alfie. When Garry appears nervous in response to Little Mo's worry, Mo becomes suspicious.

Patrick is in happier spirts and is determined to make a success of the Minute Mart for something good for Paul to come home too. However, his optimistic outlook is shattered when DS Fraser informs him that a body has been discovered in a wasteland on the Isle of Dog. They have reason to believe that it's Paul. Patrick refuses to believe it but Yolande convinces him to identify the body.

Jim takes Dot for some tests at the hospital. He prepares her lunch and is adamant that they will unwind and watch a film together for the rest of the day.

Ian and Jane are having difficulty getting alone time, so Ian closes shop and convinces Pauline to babysit the children under false pretences. When Lucy attempts to convince Pauline to allow her go out with Stacey and Peter informs her that he has swimming, Pauline tracks down Ian and captures him and Jane together half-naked.

Mo threatens to break Garry's legs if he does not reveal what he knows about Billy.

Patrick is taken aback when he is greeted at the mortuary by DI Riddick. Once he has geared himself up to identify the body, his countenance says it all – Paul is dead.

When Mo informs Little Mo that Billy went to see Graham, Little Mo is speechless. Garry, in the meantime, tracks down Billy at Jamie's grave and fetches him home.

Once home, Patrick snaps and raises his voice at Yolande, pleading for her to be left alone. He then heads to the Vic.

Stacey fills in the Moon brothers about the police turning up at the Minute Mart. Andy quickly receives word and informs the Moon boys that he will be out all day.

Yolande attempts to reach Anthony.

Little Mo begs Billy to help him overcome his troubles with Graham but he leaves her saddened when he tells her how much he hates Freddie and how much he hates her for forcing him to do this.

Yolande finds Patrick in the Vic and announces to everyone that Paul has been murdered.

DI Riddick and DC Jones track down Andy and inform that Paul’s body was only found from a tip-off from an anonymous phone call. While Yolande is escorting Patrick home from the pub, he notices DI Riddick and DC Jones leaving Number 31. Patrick bangs on Andy's door, wanting to see his face. The Square comes together as Andy informs Patrick that whatever happened to Paul was unrelated to him. He storms back inside, haunted by the sounds of Patrick accusing him of murder and pledging justice. Andy realises he has gotten himself in too deep.
