Summary[]
A radiant Nana puts her doubts aside and waits for her prospective husband. Alfie returns with the groom - but the news he brings is unexpected. Word spreads around the Square about the Ferreiras' eviction and, in a show of community spirit, Dot and Mo take them in. Meanwhile, when Den heads off to a posh restaurant to meet his mystery lunch date, Chrissie sneaks out to follow him.

Wilfred admits that he is a con artist. Nana says she knew Wilfred took the medals - she should have offered them to pay for the honeymoon. Wilfred tells her that he can't marry her. Nana shows no emotion. Alfie is concerned but pulls away from Kat. As Nana looks at her brooch, she breaks down and cries. The Ferreiras realise that they are free of their dad, but Tariq barricades the door, angry that they take being a family for granted. The Ferreiras stick together and are evicted. The community rallies round and takes them in. Pauline and Dot continue to bicker. Sonia and Martin put the past behind them. Den deliberately forgets his keys so Chrissie follows him to his lunch date, who is Ian - a set up by Den. Pat discovers Wilfred has gone. |
