Summary[]
Pauline is determined to keep Chloe. Little Mo is being badly treated by Trevor. Nick threatens Mark. Pat leaves Roy, and Phil tells Melanie he wants her.

Phil meets Steve and Melanie in the Square. Steve reminds Phil that he needs to collect the books from him today and Phil agrees. Steve and Melanie look very much in love. Lynne and Kat beg Little Mo to come home, but she's scared. Nick swears to get revenge on Mark. Natalie speaks to Pat, but it's too late - she leaves Roy. Natalie tries to have a word with Roy about Pat. She reckons he's being too hasty about the whole divorce. Roy gets angry and knows Pat put her up to this. He insists his decision is the best thing for them all. Lenny is leaving the hospital today. He tries to give Nick some advice on how to cope with his situation. He tells him not to forget he can still think for himself. Nick tries to talk to Ashley. He tells him nothing's changed and they're still a team - with debts to settle. Ashley's reluctant to believe him but is pleased that Nick is back on form. Nick's decided it's time to get out of the hospital. Ashley tracks down a wheelchair and helps him into it. A nurse challenges them as they leave, advising against the move. Nick just tells her to get whatever forms he needs. Worried about their sister, Lynne and Kat have borrowed a van to try and track down Little Mo. They sit outside Trevor's house, hoping to spot her. Melanie has another word with Phil about his moody behaviour, insisting she's with Steve and that's it. Phil disagrees, saying she's been with every man in Walford and asks why Steve should be different. Melanie heads straight over to Steve and arranges an afternoon tryst at his house. When he leaves, she tells Phil she's off to the cash and carry and reminds him to call over to Steve's to collect the Snooker Hall books. Sonia and Jim go to the meeting about Chloe. Once again, Pauline insists Chloe should be raised by her and Martin as they're family. Martin is asked to speak for himself but he says very little before Pauline manages to butt in again. At the meeting, Sonia lays into Pauline about her idea of 'family'. She dissects her track record as a parent and claims there's no way Pauline should bring up Chloe. Shocked, Pauline announces nothing will keep her from Chloe, even if she has to go to court. Phil calls over to Steve who answers the door in his underwear. As he gives Phil the books, Melanie walks out in Steve's dressing gown. Phil realises that Melanie is trying to make a point but he's none too impressed. In the Square, Natalie catches Pat putting a note in the letterbox. She quizzes her on it but Pat remains aloof. It's clear she's decided to leave. Natalie asks her to speak to Roy in person but Pat refuses and gets into a waiting taxi. Lynne and Kat finally spot Little Mo. They try to get her to return home but Mo doesn't want to. Kat spots a cut on her face but Mo insists it's none of their business and they should leave her alone. Natalie brings Roy the note. He reads it and reveals to Natalie that Pat's gone and she's sorry for everything that's happened but can't stay in Walford, seeing him everyday. Roy's more upset than he'll admit. Dot asks Jim for help moving Nick but Mark volunteers instead. Once they set him up in Dot's bedroom, Mark and Nick are left alone. Nick informs his old rival that he should look out - Nick will get revenge. In the Vic, Melanie tells Phil she hopes he's finally got the message and they should just forget it ever happened. Phil admits he doesn't want Lisa anymore, he's lost all interest in her. What he really wants is Melanie! |
