Summary[]
Sharon's hopes to revive her marriage are crushed when Grant gets the law on his side. Nellie, Pauline and Arthur head down to Eastbourne for Nellie's husband's funeral.
Arthur plans the route to take in some scenic roads and not travel the whole way on the motorway to Eastbourne for the funeral of Nellie's estranged husband, George. They plan to go in Michelle's old Ford Fiesta but David steps in and lends them a newer Ford Sierra to go in instead, which breaks down in the middle of nowhere! They later arrive in Eastbourne in a flatbed tow truck with the car on the back. Later, Pauline and Arthur fall out in their room because Arthur believes Nellie is a 'Tragedy Queen' and says she's enjoying playing the part. Pauline says that she understands how Nellie is feeling because she's not the only woman to have had her husband cheat on her! Back in the Vic, Grant pushes Sharon into signing divorce papers which she is reluctant to do. |
