Summary[]
Sharon finds Nigel's "stolen" goods in the Vic's cellar and confronts Grant. Steven hurts his knee at the park, while Gita's fear of being targeted causes her great distress. Carol treats herself to a new look which blows Alan away.
Carol has a surprise romantic evening planned for Alan. Bianca tells him about it when Carol annoys her. Nigel has not been sleeping for a week and it has not gone unnoticed by Debbie. She encourages him to speak up and learns that he is in debt with Ian and stole the television himself, and not a burglar. She is supportive and finds his theft set-up humorous. Gita looks after Steven for the day and takes him to the park to play. Alan job hunts but has no luck finding anything. Robbie stands in for him on Mark's stall. Arthur does not trust Robbie, so keeps a close eye on him, and later catches him trying to flog all the fruit and vegetables for just £50. Della gets caught up decorating the flat with Binnie and is late for her shift at the hair salon, leaving Steve is unimpressed with her lax behaviour, but even more annoyed to discover she has taken the kettle and some towels from the salon for herself. Mark uses alcohol as a coping mechanism following Joe's death; he ends up drunk and falls over a bar stall in the Vic, so is taken upstairs to sober up, where he sorrowfully tells Steve that Joe's fate will inevitably one day be his. |
