Summary[]
Meena shows up on the market, determined to put things right with Gita, as the family have pushed her out. Nigel is willing to spend as much as he needs to ensure that Clare stays in his and Debbie's care. Arthur is relieved when Pauline informs him Geoff has not been in touch with Michelle since the party.

Pat finds money in a locked box whilst cleaning at an office. She is tempted by it but resists taking it. Michelle worries as Geoff has not seen nor spoken to her since meeting the family, claiming he needs to be with his children. Nellie and Pauline manage to accept him as Michelle's boyfriend, but Arthur struggles to see past the age difference. David takes money from the money pot at Number 41, despite Ricky trying to stop him. Blossom is not sleeping well, thanks to cats fighting in the back, so she decides to get ready for a meet-up with Jules two hours early. Grant is wound up by David's presence at the café. David does not have his wallet on him, so promises to pay Natalie back for his purchases later, leading Grant to make a remark over the matter. Liam follows Debbie down the market and tells her he will drop the court case just for her. She is unimpressed when he asks her if cancelling court will change her opinion on him. Meena waits outside the flat for Gita to finish work, adamant they will make amends. Gita reluctantly lets Meena into her flat. Meena admits to Gita that she needs her forgiveness, as otherwise the family will not acknowledge her again. Ricky tries to get repayment money off Nigel, but is unsuccessful when Debbie interrupts their conversation to share the good news about Liam and the court case. Geoff turns up unexpectedly at Number 55, and Michelle does not know how to feel. The pair talk through the events at the party. David turns up at the Vic and gets a drink off Sharon. He promises to pay her back, once again stating he has not got his wallet on him. Sharon is fine with the situation but Grant is not and tells her she is being played by him. Ricky is in a bad mood, having been unable to collect repayments from Nigel and Pat. He gives Ian attitude before heading to the Vic for a drink. David gets tipsy and starts dancing with Sharon. He gets closer to her face, unaware Grant is stood behind them. Grant pulls him off Sharon and punches him to the floor. |
