Amber Trueman (also Eleanor Jr) made her first appearance on 7 March 2003. She is portrayed by Charnae Leckie.
Backstory[]
Amber is the result of a one-night stand between Paul Trueman and a woman called Amy.
Storylines[]

Amy leaves baby Amber on Paul's doorstep and he struggles to cope as a single parent. He doesn't know her name, so he names the baby Eleanor, after the mother of his stepfather, Patrick Trueman. As Paul starts to cope with looking after Eleanor, Amy decides she wants her back, and Social Services collect her, leaving Paul heartbroken. Amy reveals she has already named the baby Amber but when she legally registers her, the baby can have Paul’s surname.
