Eileen O'Brien (born 4th December 1945 in Liverpool) is an English actress who appeared as Edie Smith in EastEnders sporadically from May 1987 to May 1988.
She is known for her roles in television programmes such as Boys from the Blackstuff, The Crezz and The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes and she was the wife of the late writer and actor Stephen Mallatratt but they divorced.
