DI Stephan Franklin is a Police Officer (Detective Inspector formally Detective Constable), he is currently investigating the sexual assault of Linda Carter by Dean Wicks. He is currently stationed at Walford Police Station.
Storylines[]
DC Stefan Franklin introduces himself to Linda when she is about to make a video statement about Dean sexually assaulting her, saying he is the officer dealing with her case and he'll be in the room next door, listening to Linda's interview with PC Vanessa Jenkins.
When Linda holds a karaoke night, Dean enters the pub and is told by Mick Carter to go. Shirley Carter fetches Dean, saying he needs to go home and outside The Queen Victoria, Dean is apprehended by DC Franklin and a colleague. DC Franklin arrests Dean on the suspicion of serious sexual assault.
In 2018 he reappears and asks Vincent Hubbard to get evidence on Phil Mitchell and Aidan Maguire.
Vincent does attempt to do so but Phil finds out what is going on and informs Aidan what's going on and the two arrange to have Vincent kidnapped and Aidan kills him.
