Andrew Lynford was born on 14th June 1972 in Essex, England. He is an English television presenter and actor who appeared as Simon Raymond in EastEnders from 1996 to 1999.
Lynford trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. His first jump start in show business was in theatre roles in productions such as The Little Shop of Horrors and Oliver!. However, his big break came when he landed the role of Simon in EastEnders, the gay brother of Tiffany Mitchell. Following his career in EastEnders, he made headlines in the British press, following a gay kiss with his on-screen partner Tony Hills played by Mark Homer.
He is also known to the industry as a television writer and casting director in such productions such as Monster.
